After a career change, we were looking for something new. We came upon our current restaurant location, what was formerly Michael’s Roadhouse and had an idea. Francis’ experience as a cook in the navy and our mutual love of dining in many establishments throughout the years had us convinced that we should open a new dining location of our own. We began to completely remodel the building and create a train-themed restaurant which we would later call Side Tracks because of our proximity to the railroad tracks outside.
We incorporated many reclaimed items in our design and gave it a unique flair that is warm and inviting for everyone. Many of our food items are prepared in the house such as our smoked pulled pork and ribs, our freshly ground and char-grilled hamburgers, fresh salads and dressings, battered seafood and chicken strips, delicious pizza, appetizing sides including artichoke dip, macaroni and cheese, and more. We expanded the space with a second bar and stage with lights and sound system to entertain our guests with DJ's and live bands on the weekends. Side Tracks is truly a place to get sidetracked!
